Postcards from Étretat

On Hiatus: A Mini Travel Journal

Part 5: Étretat, Normandy

Hi friends,

As winter feels like it’s just around the corner, I wanted to finally share the last place that I visited this past summer. Honestly, I did not know much about Étretat before visiting. I simply knew that it’s famous for its beautiful landscape as well as a hidden garden. Many people will recognize the distinctive landscapes from Claude Monet’s paintings which feature the signature arch rock formations. Only a couple hours from Paris, Étretat is a perfect destination for a little weekend getaway. The little town is charming with everything you need to enjoy a weekend away and the first sight of the rocky arch feels like seeing something out of this world.

Some sweet girl took this candid photo of my friends and I living in the moment. She said we just looked so “aesthetic” like a movie and airdropped me the photos. What a beautiful thing to be offline.

I wanted to keep this blog post short and sweet. Let the photos speak for themselves and in that way, you can decide for yourself whether or not a place like Étretat deserves a visit.

As always, thank you for reading. Until next time ~

Bisous,

Kiana
